□ Confirmed that the Zoom meeting is scheduled for the correct time
□ Properly set up all Zoom functions to be used (or are likely to be used)
□ Notified students of the (Zoom) URL for the first class
□ Notified students of the (Zoom) password
□ Decided on a method for sending handouts to students
□ Secured a stable Internet connection
□ Taken steps to ensure that the lesson and all content are accessible to students using smartphones
□ Prepared robust out-of-class learning activities (or detailed instructions for students regarding said activities)
□ Know the contact information for Technical Support
□ Rehearsed the (opening of the) first class using the same environment you will use online
Checklist Items for the Following Faculty Members Only
□ Faculty taking attendance: Taken measures to prevent identity spoofing
□ Faculty with classes of over one hundred students: Acquired a Zoom license with the “Large Meeting” add-on from the university
□ Faculty recording their classes: Secured sufficient empty storage disk or cloud space
